General Info

Attire

The Ball will be in the form of a formal attired function with a Star Wars theme, not a costumed/fancy dress event. The Tattersall’s club have their own minimum dress code that does not permit jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts or sneakers. The classifications for formal attire are:

  • Men: suit and tie, or tux
  • Ladies: cocktail dress or similar

You are more than welcome to include a Star Wars theme, but please keep it minimal. E.g. Star Wars bow tie, neck tie, lapel pin, or a Star Wars dress shirt worn under your jacket.

Tickets

Charity Ball tickets are available now – see here. Tickets will start to ship early April 2018 via Australia post and continue to ship until sold, but no later than 1 week before the Ball.

Please don’t forget to bring your tickets along with you on the night, as there is no admission to the venue without a ticket. On arrival your ticket will be taken and replaced with the allotted drinks vouchers plus any extra you may have pre-purchased.

Drink Vouchers

Each ticket includes basic drinks:

  • General admission = 2 standard drinks (beer, wine, soft drink or juice)

Additional drink vouchers are available through pre-purchase when ordering your tickets. The number of pre-purchased drinks will add to the total which will be printed onto the rear of your ticket.
E.g. General admission ticket = 2 drinks + pre-purchase of 4 drinks, total = 6 drinks.

Why is there a pre-purchase drinks option?

To prevent a lengthy wait for drinks, the Tattersall’s club will facilitate the service of beer, wine, soft drinks and juice to voucher holders. A cash bar will also be available on the night for those who prefer spirits and cocktails, or do not wish to pre-purchase their basic drinks.
